New?

Well, it’s a new year once again. My 23rd new year and a new decade. Crazy! Two more years and apparently the world will be over?! No wait, wasn’t the world supposed to be over in 2000? haha..look at us now! 10 years later and still standing! Congrats Earth!

Anyways, its the same shit different year in my book. Work is hectic as ever and it’s pushing me farther away from my friends, family, and Bear. I’m still, however, on a mission to leave to do my master’s in the fall! No matter how much my uncle shits on the areas of the universities I’ve chosen, I will go there if I’m accepted Inshallah.

Remember back when I wanted to get a gym membership? (ya still hasn’t happened) but I was talking to H today and khalas! I am putting my foot down. Tomorrow I will go check out a couple hotels and I want….NEED a gym membership. I think a part of me is being sucked into Kuwait so bad that I need to let out all this energy, maybe a spinning class?…..we’ll see bout that one haha, might be a little too far fetched for me seeing as that I’m still recupperating (sp?) from walking down 35 flights of stairs in about 5-6 inch heels in a surprise fire drill haha.

Oh for those who care, my new year’s resolution is to not give TWO shits about anyone but myself. I’m tired of thinking and pleasing about everyone else except for me. Also, I’m not going to put as much effort into people if they don’t for me. What I get, is what you will receive in return. I’m tired of being hurt and let down. THIS IS THE NEW ME. watch out world. ;)
